Entry On August 18th Today I am listening to the band dadlore. I discovered them this week and have been adding basically their entire discography, which is pretty minimal overall to my September 2026 playlist. They are incredibly small right now, (less than 30k monthly listeners on Spotify) but the quality of their music is really impressive. I like their online energy, I haven't had a chance to delve into their youtube yet but probably will later. Definitely boycomma energy, which makes sense considering both bands are in the Southerin California post 2022 shoegaze emo scene. I see a lot of similairites from the angsty soft vocals, the crisp guitar leads, the drum bridges use of melodic crescendos, yearnful lyrics. I don't know, I guess I'm just excited to see how this scene develops in the coming years.
